About game
Challenge a friend or the computer in the classic game of backgammon. Toss the dice to determine how many spaces your pieces move across the board. Landing on specific spaces allows you to move multiple pieces simultaneously, potentially changing the course of the game. If you land on a space occupied by a single opponent's piece, send that piece back to the starting point. Your goal is to navigate your pieces around the board and get them off before your opponent does. The first player to successfully remove all their pieces from the board wins the game!
How to play
The goal of the board game is to get all your pieces into your home base and then remove them from the board before your opponent does the same.
The game starts with two players having 15 pieces each placed around the board. Your "home" area is directly opposite your opponent's "home".
Each player takes turns rolling the dice. You move your pieces according to the number on the dice, trying to advance them towards your home area.
You can only move your checkers to unoccupied spaces or spaces with your own or a single opponent's checker. You cannot make moves that lead to spaces with two or more of your opponent's checkers.
If you land on a space occupied by just one of your opponent’s pieces, you «capture» it, removing it from the game until your next turn when it returns to the board, starting from the beginning.
