About game
Block Stars is a browser-based PvP voxel game requiring no installation or account creation — simply join and start playing.
In this game, the Heroes team protects a shining crystal, while the Monsters team aims to destroy it. The day-night cycle influences the battle: Heroes gain strength during the day, while Monsters are more powerful at night.
Heroes begin with nothing and must mine resources like wood, stone, and iron to craft weapons, armor, torches, and build defenses around the crystal before sunset.
Monsters come in three classes:
• Zombie — a close-combat tank that destroys blocks;
• Skeleton — a ranged archer;
• Kriker — explodes, creating gaps in walls.
Game modes:
• Tutorial — a guided session with hints;
• Training — solo practice against bots, 3 or 5 cycles;
• Multiplayer — public rooms or private games with 6-character codes.
Controls use keyboard and mouse. Supports Russian and English.
How to play
CONTROLS • Use W A S D to move, Space to jump. • Left mouse button to attack or break blocks. • Right mouse button to place blocks or shoot an arrow. • Press 1–6 to select items in the inventory. • Open crafting by right-clicking on the workbench. • Alt + left mouse button or middle mouse button to rotate the camera. • Scroll wheel to zoom in and out. AS A HERO 1. Destroy blocks to collect wood, stone, and iron. 2. Access crafting (Tab) to create swords, armor, and torches. 3. Construct walls around the crystal before dark. 4. Defend your position at night — monsters become more powerful. AS A MONSTER 1. Choose your class before the game: zombie, skeleton, or creeper. 2. After death, select a respawn point on the map. 3. Work with your team to reach the crystal. 4. The restricted area around the crystal gets smaller each night. WINNING CONDITIONS • Heroes — survive all cycles (3 or 5) and protect the crystal. • Monsters — destroy the crystal before time runs out.Game info
