About game
«Chess 2025» — a traditional game with a twist. You can play against the computer, which provides three levels of difficulty. A novice can easily overcome the simplest level, but tackling the hardest one is a challenge for the few.
How to play
Checkmate: this occurs when the king is under attack and there's no possibility to avoid capture. Stalemate: the game results in a draw if a player cannot make a move without being in check. Castle: this strategy is available when a player has an advantage with the king and rook, provided that the pieces between them have been cleared. The king moves two squares to the side, and then the rook jumps over to the square the king has crossed. Conditions when castling is prohibited: - If the king or rook has already moved; - If the king is currently in check; - If castling would put the king in check.Game info
