In Cosmic Sandbox, you can play with gravity and construct your unique universe of planets, stars, and black holes. Each entity consists of pixels and features distinct layers: crust, mantle, and core. When subjected to gravitational forces, these objects may deform, fragment, and expose their internal structure.
You can tweak mass, speed, and rotation, watch orbits, and study how celestial bodies interact. Whether you aim for stability or prefer chaotic cosmic experiments, the laws of physics will guide the outcome based on your actions.
How to play
Choose celestial bodies from the panel and position them in the scene. Set their starting speed by pulling and adjust their rotation. The objects will attract each other due to gravity. When subjected to intense forces, they may shatter, shedding pixels and exposing their inner structure. Use the camera to zoom in and navigate through the simulation. Try out various combinations of objects to achieve stable orbits or vibrant interactions.
