In the city where deceit is the norm, you're a detective armed with a deck of cards.
In the first phase, «Collecting Evidence», place cards on a 5x5 grid to form poker combinations along rows and columns. Each successful hand awards you tools for the upcoming interrogation.
The second phase is «Interrogation» — a tense poker showdown with the suspect. Utilize your tools, study your opponent's moves, and break their spirit before they reach for a lawyer.
Face off against six unique suspects, each with their own quirks: nervy, prone to bluffs, cold-blooded, or chaotic. Tailor your strategy to match each interrogation style.
Each session presents three cases, with scores carrying over and records saved.
How to play
Phase 1 — Collecting Clues
You start with a deck of 52 cards. Arrange them on a 5×5 grid. For each completed row or column, you'll get points based on poker combinations: a Pair earns 10 points and an Extra Card tool, a Straight — 50 points and a Block, a Flush — 70 points and Pressure, Four of a Kind — 100 points and Ultimatum, Royal Flush — 200 points and Trump. The better your hands, the easier it will be to weaken the boss during questioning.
Phase 2 — Poker Showdown
Once the grid is filled, the interrogation starts. You and the suspect are dealt 5 cards each. Discard unwanted cards and exchange them once per round. When you press Present Evidence, your hands are compared. Win to inflict damage, lose and your next hand will have one less card. You have 8 rounds to crack the suspect's defence. Use the tools you earned in Phase 1 wisely.
Pro tip: Use the Scout tool before presenting evidence to uncover the suspect's hidden cards.
