Loto is a traditional game for the whole family, which originated in Italy during the 16th century. Many believe that it enhances memory, patience, logical thinking, and concentration.
In the game, each participant receives cards with fifteen random numbers distributed across three rows and nine columns, with five numbers in each row. The columns list numbers from 0 to 90, increasing from left to right. During gameplay, participants mark numbers on their cards when they match those drawn by the host from a bag.
To win, a player must be the first to either complete a full row on any card or mark all numbers on a single card, depending on the selected game mode. Some numbers have special nicknames, such as «a dozen» for 12 and «chairs» for 44.
How to play
The aim of the game changes depending on the mode chosen. Players need to cross out the numbers on their cards as they show up on the screen in the barrels.
If you opt for the Short Game, victory goes to the one who first completes any row on their card. In the Long Game, the winner is the first person to cross out all the numbers on their card.
Those playing on a computer will use the mouse cursor to mark the numbers, while mobile users will rely on touch controls.
