About game
In Swamp Escape, you take on the role of a little beetle perched on a lily pad, with a napping frog nearby.
The frog's slumber won't last forever — soon enough, it opens its eyes, scans the surroundings, and if it notices anything stir, its tongue shoots out in an instant. Your goal is clear: reach the portal at the screen's edge before the froggy predator makes you its meal.
With each level, the frog stays asleep for less time, and from level five, it gets a friend. Gather mushrooms, coins, hearts, and snap branches for extra rewards. Spend your points on coins in the shop and customize your beetle's look: choose new colors, shell designs, antennae, and shoes. And keep an eye out for a secret tucked away somewhere in the swamp — it's up to you to discover it.
How to play
Control keys: - → / Space / tap right — the beetle goes forward. - ← / tap left — the beetle takes a step back. - P / Esc — pause the game. - Tab — open the settings menu. - M — turn sound on or off. Game rules: - If the frog is sleeping, you can move forward. - When the frog starts to wake up, either freeze or step back. - If the frog is looking around, don't move at all. - Stepping on a branch makes it crack and wakes the frog quickly. - Make it to the EXIT portal while the frog isn't watching to complete the level! Bonuses: - Mushroom — gives points and a ×2/×3 multiplier. - Coin — adds to your coin balance. - Heart — restores health. Shop offers: - 1000 points = 10 coins. - 5000 points = an extra permanent max heart.Game info
